Here are some things to know about Animal Crossing DS.

-ONE HOUSE!!! All the people (family/friends) who play in your town all share the same house. It's so annoying that it's worth it to get your own game.

 

-Museum is way bigger! Many more fossils, fish, bugs.

        -2F Museum is the Observatory run by Blathers Sister Celeste. YOU CAN MAKE CONSTELLATIONS HERE!!!

                  (your constellations may transfer to a friends town if you vist them.)

        -Basement of the Museum Is Brewster's Cafe. Grab a cup of Joe and sit back and watch K.K. Slider Perform Saturdays At 8.

 

-No police station! Booker and Copper have been promoted (or Demoted) to guards who stand at the gate. They still do all the same things except now you talk to Copper to visit or be visited by a friend.

 

-Nook Point system! Tom Nook Has a machine that counts points depending on how much money you spend. Each rank that you reach will earn you a prize.

 

-Wishing Well, Post Office and Dump Combine! The town hall replaces all of these things and functions the same way. Only now you have the ability to donate the extra bells you have sitting around to the needy.

 

-Up to 4 friends can visit your town at a time.

 

-New tools. The axe, fishing rod, and net are here to stay, gold ones as well, but the new additions include the Timer (useful for playing games with friends), THe watering can (Yes flowers can die if they don't get watered now. P.S. YOu can pick flowers too.), The Slingshot (Oooh, fun. Do you remember those balloons carrying presents? Well now you get to shoot them out of the sky!)

 

-600+ New furniture, wallpapers, carpets, clothes and...

 

-HATS!!!!!!!! There are many hats to buy, glasses and masks too. This is incredibly fun! You can make your own hats too. Costume making is a breeze with these new additions.

 

-New Animals that can live in your town.

        

- New special Characters. (You need to play tho figure them out I'm not going to spoil it.)

 

-Townies can use tools. The Animals in your town will sometimes create and maintain thier own gardens.

 

-Hair-stylist. If i didn't mention this already, when you're not wearing a hat, you have hair. Now a poodle has a store ( don't be bummed if it isn't there right away it comes later) and will give you a new hairdo depending on how you answer her questions.

 

There are many other differences as well, but I don't want to spoil everything.

-No 16-player

 

-You can not, i repeat can NOT, do you-know-what with the other Animals. I saw this on another site and I don't know what sick weirdo came up with it.
