The Mysterious Ranter!!!
Who hasn’t seen the rants on the bulletin board after every fourth of July? Yet it is never signed all it says is, and this is exact:
"It’s not fair! Everyone else got to see the fireworks, but NO, not me! I had to WORK!  Why? It’s not like anyone came in anyway! The place was deserted!"
Now I have been investigating this for quite some time. I think I may have solved it! Now our suspects are: Tom Nook, Tommy, Timmy, Mable or Sable Able, Officer Booker, Officer Copper, Pete, Porter, Phyllis, and Pelly.  All the workers. Now we can rule out Porter and Officer Copper because they work outside. Although Officer Copper often states that he wishes he was at an event instead of working, work would not have stopped him from seeing fireworks in the sky. Another Person we can rule out is Pelly because she only works during the day. She still could have seen it. I also ruled out Tommy and Timmy because there was no repeated words at the end of each sentence.  Everyone knows they have a habit of doing that. Similar is the case of Officer Booker. There were no " I think..." s at the end of each phrase. So now I know It was either: Tom Nook, One of the Able sisters or  Pete or Phyllis.  I thought about this and eventually ruled out Tom Nook. You can tell by his eyes and they way he reacted when you couldn’t afford your house that he is incapable of getting that angry. Then a thought scared me. Maybe I was overlooking a possible suspect. Mr. Resetti. I linked the yelling to him, but ruled him out because he had no place for anyone to not come into.  Now I knew that the culprit was residing in either the Tailor shop or the post office. I was stuck here for a while  before I realized that the Able sisters liked their job too much (at least Mable did) to complain about working.  Then I thought of the only person I ever see posting something on the bulletin board, Pete. But Pete was too friendly to write a nasty letter.  Then That left only one, Phyllis. I hit myself on the head for how dumb I’d been. Of course! Phyllis is one of the only working townies who is, Mean, Works during the fireworks show, Has a place that is usually deserted, hates her job and has Pete to deliver her notes to the bulletin board because she can’t get out of work. I visited Phyllis and she confessed. Then I think she thought something mean (she usually does). I called the case closed and typed this report. Until next time, keep searching for the mysteries of Animal Crossing.

Strange Facts:
The Able Sisters Cash Register only has 9 buttons. They're most likely missing a zero.

In Nookington's behind the sign that has Tom Nook's hours on it is a desk that has a cash register and a sign on it. The sign has a typo and it sats "INFOMATION"

The Welcome mat outside of Nookington's is backwards.

There is only one light in Nookingtons and that is behind the shovels and such.

The Wishing well is a statue of Farley. (I dont know how much of a mystery this is but i just found it.)

The only light in Nookingtons dissapears during a raffle.

There are no lights in the Able sisters' shop. - (Thanks to a submitter)

You can only have 14 Gyroids turned on per floor at a time. If you try to turn the fifteenth on another will shut off.
